Gail taught yoga in the Atlanta area for over a decade. She taught through Atlanta Parks & Recreation, Henry Country Parks & Recreation, Nirvana Yoga, and Indigo Soul Yoga. She also taught adaptive yoga and trauma-informed yoga for Blaze Sports Veterans Program and Emory University Veterans Program.
My Background
Yoga
Chair Yoga is offered to students who are not able to easily get on the mat and prefer to remain in the chair. All of the benefits of traditional yoga are still realized and we stretch and strengthen our bodies and find peace in our hearts.
Adaptive Yoga offers an approach to yoga designed to meet all abilities as we explore our own expression of each pose.
Yoga Stretch offers a relaxing, restorative approach to yoga. Increase flexibility and balance, while de-stressing in a gentle atmosphere. Let go of the day’s stress while you journey into self.
Yoga Flow is an energetic, low impact, way to build core strength, lean muscle, and flexibility.
Tai Ji Quan Moving for Better Balance
Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance® (TJQMBB) is a research-based balance training regimen designed for older adults at risk of falling and people with balance disorders.
Trauma-Informed Yoga offers a place of peace and understanding for those who have experienced trauma. Trauma-Informed yoga is less about how poses are executed and more about the feeling of embodiment (being within your body) within a pose
